Nelson, Presidential Professor and Director of the Metropolitan Research Center at the University of Utah - and the I-90 corridor in Montana and the Snake River Valley in Idaho are especially well-positioned for renewed growth.

More than 90 percent of economists think the recession is nearing its end, but they don't expect the economy to soar anytime soon.

Nearly 75 percent of economists, surveyed by the National Association for Business Economics, say that the recession will end in the third quarter. Another 19 percent think the turnaround will come in the fourth quarter. The rest are betting on the first quarter of 2010.

By signing a legal document known as a homestead declaration, Montanans can protect up to $250,000 in value of a home against most creditors’ claims. For example, if a person incurs an overwhelming gambling debt, up to $250,000 in value of his/her home would still be sheltered.
