2010 was a very good year in comparison to 2009, though far from the record pace of 2006.   Many positive indicators are evident with increased sales in every location, declining inventories in most areas, and upward trends in median sales prices in Big Sky and rural Bozeman.  This recap is a comparison of 2010 to 2009 sales information, the source is the Southwest Montana Multiple…

The Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded its 2011 Guy Sperry Award to real estate agent Robyn Erlenbush.

The Sperry Award is the Chamber's highest honor, recognizing a community member who excels in their profession and gives back to the community. Guy Sperry was executive vice president of the chamber for 20 years, during which he adamantly espoused the motto "Build a Better Bozeman." The award recognizes others who perpetuate his dream.

"This means as much to me as any award I've ever received," Erlenbush said Tuesday, explaining that she worked with Sperry's wife. "I only knew Guy from his larger-than-life legacy. From that perspective, this is very near and dear to me."

Erlenbush has been in real estate for 30 years. In 1982, she joined…
