At our office meeting last week, we took a close look at the city of Bozeman’s residential housing market and we found some promising numbers (pulled from the Southwest Montana MLS 1/1-5/31) that we wanted to share with you.

Single Family Market
â€˘    Sales units are up 5% over last year.
â€˘    Average sales price is up to $272,362 while the median sales price is $237,250.

Condo/Townhouse Market
â€˘    Sales units are up 40.6%!
â€˘    Average sales price is $163,881 and the median is $150,000. Both of those numbers are down compared to 2010, but that’s likely contributing to the increase in sales. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
