Healthy Rebounding Housing Market

Though local real estate trends are what I normally focus on, it is still important to view statistics on a larger, national scale to stay “in the know.”  This month’s article is somewhat of a potpourri of topics surrounding the real estate industry.

Realtor.org recently reported that over 70% of our national housing markets which are classified as “metro markets” are showing signs of improvement.  (Note:  A metropolitan statistical area is a geographical region with a core urban population of 50,000 or more people as defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget and used for statistical purposes.  There are currently 381 metro markets in the U.S.) This number is three times greater than the number in June 2012.  The criteria include strengthening…

Sweet Pea Posters Displayed for July 2013 Art Walk

ERA Landmark is pleased to announce that the 2013 Sweet Pea Festival poster entries will be on display at ERA’s Downtown Bozeman office during the Art Walk on Friday, July 12th from 6 to 8 pm. All 50 posters entered into this year’s contest will be on display along with the original artwork by Autumn Fiske that was chosen as the winner. More information about the winner can be read here

Ann Kesting Receives Accredited Buyer's Representative Designation

Robyn Erlenbush, Broker/Owner of ERA Landmark Real Estate is pleased to announce that Ann Kesting received accreditation as a homebuyer representative from the Real Estate Buyer's Agency Council.

To earn the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, Kesting completed an extensive training program on buyer agency practices and procedures, passed a written examination, and demonstrated practical experience as a buyer representative.

Kesting joined ERA Landmark in 2010 and currently serves as the Government Affairs Committee Chair for the Gallatin Association of Realtors. Kesting’s diverse background in negotiations, purchasing, client services, and budget management makes her a valuable asset to her clients.

TravelNerd has named Bozeman one of the top 10 small cities in the US for art lovers! They focused on cities with populations under 200,000 that hosted numerous art museums, galleries, and festivals to find locations with plenty of events and destinations for art lovers.
