How Do We Stack Up?

Plenty of mid-year national stats and forecasts are being released, and it is positive to note that our region is trending at or above most of the data. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported via its 2013 Housing Pulse Survey that American consumers believe owning a home is a positive situation with 68% of those surveyed agreeing now is a good time to buy and 80% feel buying a home is a good financial decision. This is the tenth survey of its kind and respondents were certainly more optimistic than in the recent past despite the fact that the economy still faces uncertainty. $15,000 Raised at 3rd Annual ERA Agents of Hope Carnival

The 3rd Annual ERA Agents of Hope Carnival held at Bogert Park on Saturday, August 10, 2013, was a great success!

On behalf of ERA Landmark Real Estate and the Montana Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 60 local businesses that contributed to making this event so successful. We were able to raise $15,000 for the Montana Chapter of MDA and all of the community members in attendance had a blast! August Greetings from Sharon and Brian!

We can't believe the summer is winding down. Hope you all had a wonderful one with friends and family, vacations and weekend trips, shopping and dining in our picturesque downtown area, and all the fun that our Bozeman area offers!

-Our Gallatin Multiple Listing Service INVENTORY of homes for sale is still down substantially from last year at this time. (down 9-11% in Bozeman, Belgrade). 
-Number of SALES is up from last July: 23%, 16% and 21% in Bozeman-Belgrade. Big Sky single-family sales are up 32% from last July.

Outside Magazine's Best Towns 2013: Bozeman, Montana

Outside Magazine just released its annual listing of best towns and Bozeman, Montana made the list. A total of 18 towns were selected with the goal of finding America’s best place to be healthy. The magazine turned to social media and asked the fans to choose their favorite. While the winner was Park City, Utah, Bozeman made a good showing and was noted for the obvious access to skiing and trails as well as the downtown food and nightlife. Read the entire article here.

3rd Annual ERA Agents of Hope Carnival

Lending a hand to help combat neuromuscular disease, ERA Landmark Real Estate is hosting the 3rd Annual ERA Agents of Hope Carnival at Bogert Park in Bozeman on Saturday, August 10th, 2013, 1 pm-5 pm. The community is invited to come to play old-fashioned carnival games, win prizes, listen to music, enjoy food, and play on fun inflatable activities. Admission to the park is free and tickets will be sold to participate in the games and activities. All of the proceeds raised at the Carnival benefit the Montana Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
