As the time nears to celebrate our country’s independence, our personal calendars fill up quickly trying to squeeze in the best of summer’s activities. Towns throughout Southwest Montana teem with tourists from near and far who want to spend their vacation in our backyard doing these same things. Some of these visitors are coming to see Bozeman and the surrounding area for the very first time, and others are trying to figure out how to make this the location for either their vacation home or new full-time residence. Wow…what a winter. If record snowfall is an economic indicator, we are positioned for a stellar year. Interestingly enough, the nation reported first-quarter sales were down in comparison to 2013. Many markets, including some in Montana, quoted severe weather as one of the causes of sales decline. However, Bozeman and Big Sky fared far better than average for the first 90 days of 2014.

ERA Landmark is pleased to announce that the 2014 Sweet Pea Festival poster entries will be on display at ERA’s Downtown Bozeman office during the Art Walk on Friday, July 11th from 6 to 8 pm. All of the posters entered into this year’s contest will be on display along with the original artwork by Kara Fellows-Tripp that was chosen as the winner. The posters will be on display at the ERA Landmark Real Estate Gallery and Visitors Center, 8 East Main Street, from July 11 through August 4. ERA Landmark will also be selling Sweet Pea merchandise and admission wristbands at the Downtown Bozeman office throughout the month of July.
