Coming up with exact numbers associated with new residential construction is often a bit tricky, but checking the reports from the City of Bozeman building division is a good starting point. The most current full month reported was March 2015 when permits were issued for 23 new single-family homes, 4 multi-family units, 6 duplexes, and 4 townhomes, which the city equated to 58 housing units. ERA Landmark Real Estate Broker/Owner Robyn Erlenbush, Broker Ray Atteberry, and Sales Associate Tyler Garrison attended the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Legislative Meetings held in Washington DC May 11-16. This annual event is where NAR members take an active role to advance the real estate industry, public policy, and the association.

The series of events included special issues forums, committee meetings, appointments with local Senators and Representatives, and economic updates. Atteberry, Multiple Listing Service Committee Chair, and Garrison, President-Elect, attended on behalf of the Gallatin Association of REALTORS. Erlenbush attended as a member of the NAR Risk Management Committee.

ERA Landmark is pleased to announce that painter Kara Fellows-Tripp will be featured at ERA’s downtown Bozeman office during the June 2015 Art Walk on Friday, June 12, 2015.

Montana artist Kara Tripp traded in her brushes for a palette knife and hasn’t looked back.  She enjoys the unique markings created in thick oil paint as well as the looseness the palette knife lends her work.  This technique adds a contemporary twist to her traditional subjects, which include grain elevators, ranch animals, and Montana landscapes.  Her pieces are recognizable for their expression of light, movement, and vitality.
