ERA Landmark is pleased to announce that pottery by George Dunbar along with paintings by Michael Blessing and Kara Tripp will be on display at ERA’s Downtown office during the Art Walk on Friday, August 12th from 6 to 8 pm.

Dunbar lives in Bozeman and draws inspiration for his work from the beautiful surroundings. He began his love affair with Clay after graduating from Montana State University. Dunbar will be showing a variety of his larger works at ERA Landmark. His pieces display many different shapes and sizes and he utilizes a variety of glazes making each piece unique and interesting. Each piece highlights the precision throwing techniques that identify the style, which he has come to be known for in this career spanning almost forty years. Michael Blessing is self-taught as a visual artist and painter and has been painting for nearly 10 years. Up until then, his professional focus had been in the music arts of performance, recording, and composition for over 25 years. Blessing is increasingly amazed and entranced by the subtle communication and interplay of brush strokes and knife marks on a canvas. You can learn more about Blessing at www.blessingfineart.com.

Kara Tripp is a native of Montana, born and raised in Bozeman. In 2002, she graduated from MSU with a degree in Chemical Engineering, but instead of pursuing a career in that field, she chose to focus her attention on art. Although initially a jewelry designer, she enjoyed experimenting with other mediums, which led her to paint. She now paints exclusively in oils and her work is representational. Most of her pieces depict farm and ranch landscapes or themes.

The artwork of George Dunbar & Friends will be on display at ERA Landmark Real Estate’s downtown office, 8 East Main Street, starting August 12th. For additional information about the Art Walk, call 406-556-5001.
