ERA Landmark Western Land sales associates, Julie Kennedy, Brooke Weimer, and Amanda Knuchel have volunteered to participate in this year's annual Big Brothers & Big Sisters Bowl for Kids' Sake. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a 6 Week pledge drive followed by a bowling party on March 19, 2011. Teams consist of 5 people, including one team captain. A little history about Big Brothers & Big Sisters: Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is the oldest, largest, most effective youth mentoring organization in America. BBBS came into existence in 1904 when New York City court clerk, Ernest Coulter, noticed a large number of young boys coming into his courtroom. He recognized that children could benefit from having adults to spend time with and learn from. The program began with 39 volunteers. Big Brothers Big Sisters now serves more than 225,000 children nationwide.
