Looking over data for the past 10 years, the number of single-family homes sold in the Ennis market started off at 61 homes in 2007, fell to a low of 16 units in 2009, and peaked in 2015 at 78 sales. The lowest average sales price was also in 2009 at $227,468 and then peaked the following year at $442,588. 2016 ended In the middle at $348,552. The number of land parcels sold followed suit by posting a low of 14 sales in 2009 and then a high of 98 units in 2015. However, the highest average sold price occurred in 2009 at $216,212 and the lowest was in 2015 at $72,260 for a complete flip-flop.
