
Looking over data for the past 10 years, the number of single-family homes sold within the Livingston city limits started at 104 units in 2007, hit a low of 77 units in 2009, and peaked at 153 homes in 2015. The average prices came full circle beginning at $200,603 in 2007 and dropping down to $133,478 in 2011 before rebounding to $206,064 last year. In the Shields Valley market, the number of units sold has vacillated from 16 in 2007,.to a low of 3 homes in 2009...and back up to 15 in 2016. The average prices have also been all over the graph with a low of $148,538 in 2009 to a peak of $457,707 in 2015. Paradise Valley sales similarly fluctuated with the lowest number of units closed in both 2008 and 2009 at 15. The peak came in 2015 at 34 homes sold. The lowest average sales price during this time frame was $419,693 and the highest was $672,662 in 2013. These same statistics are also available for Bozeman, Big Sky, and Ennis.
