The year is off to a good start with 21 single-family homes sold in Bozeman in the first two months of 2010. The current supply of homes (active inventory) within the city of Bozeman is 243.  Seasonal trends show that the majority of sales each year take place in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of the year. We’ll keep you posted as the year progresses!

The following graph gives you a historical perspective on the sharp rise of residential inventory levels in Bozeman from 2006-2008; followed by declining inventory from 2008-2010 and eventual market correction. Current inventory levels in the city of Bozeman are lower than in 2007.  Comparatively, in Belgrade, the supply of residential homes increased gradually and then maintained that higher level. Belgrade inventory has steadily declined 4th quarter of 2009 to the present and is currently within 19 units of 2006 low.
