ERA Landmark is proud to announce that The Gallatin Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network (GAR YPN) was recognized over the weekend in Chicago by the National Association of Realtors as Small Network of the year. Our own associates, Broker Lacy Byerly Browne and Sales Associate Mikaela Durham, serve as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of the GAR YPN. In 2006, REALTOR® Magazine created the Young Professionals Network (YPN) as a way to help younger real estate practitioners not only connect and communicate with one another, but also to tap into resources that will help them gain professional success. The magazine recognized that YPN would also help this generation of realtors build a link between the magazine and the real estate industry as a whole. According to the Gallatin Association of Realtors (GAR) website: "YPN helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas: REALTOR® Associations: Attend realtor conferences and pursue leadership roles with their local, state, and national association. Real Estate Industry: Take an active role in policy discussions and advocacy issues; be informed about the latest industry news and trends. Peers: Network and learn from one another by attending events, participating in online communication, and seeking out mentoring opportunities. Community: Become exceptional members of their community by demonstrating a high level of REALTOR® professionalism and volunteering for causes they feel passionate about."
