With all of the disturbing news on national TV, were thinking that this is a good time to list some of the many reasons we have cause to be thankful. The REAL ESTATE MARKET is improving in many ways. And, beyond that, we are so thankful that we live here in this beautiful, healthy place. Here are our TOP TEN BOZEMAN REASONS TO BE THANKFUL!
1. The number of HOME SALES is up in Bozeman and the area surrounding the city by 5%-11% in one year and by 15%-26% over 24 months.
2. In-town LAND SALES units have risen 139% since October 2011 and, outside of Bozeman, the number of sales is 117% more than 12 months ago. (Call us if you'd like more information on statistics.)
3. New COMMERCIAL BUILDING is thriving - a new Town Pump and CVS on 19th, J.C Billion on Huffine and Cottonwood, and others.
4. Many NEW BUSINESSES have chosen to locate here, both national and local: Olive Garden, Chicos, TJ Maxx and Starbucks on N. 19th; Steak & Shake, Qdoba Grill & City Brew at Gateway Mall; and 2 new hotels near Costco.
5. Downtown welcomes the following NEW DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES, including Sassy Sisters, Zocalo, Rice, Damselfly, and Pho Real.
6. Nearly 1000 NEW JOBS have been created in the last few months in the area.
7. Our K-12 SCHOOLS are some of the best in the nation. MSU's student enrollment is up. And the MSU Business College will soon break ground on its new building on campus.
8. A new WARMING CENTER for Bozeman's homeless is opening soon.
9. Bozeman DEACONESS HOSPITAL will have a grand opening in January for the completed new emergency addition.
