Residential Inventory levels show a steady decline in Bozeman and Belgrade, moving us toward a healthier and balanced amount of supply vs demand. Although rural Bozeman inventory levels have increased, sales activity has nearly doubled in Area 2 from last year. See the graph below.

Sales units for residential single-family properties in Area 1 (inside Bozeman city limits) have increased 42.6% over 2009. Also, in Area 2 (outside Bozeman city limits), the residential sales units have increased by 97%, and in Belgrade, we see an increase of 23.7%. See the graph below.

Median sales prices have declined slightly in Bozeman and Belgrade while increasing in rural Bozeman. See the graph below.
