Downtown Bozeman February Guest Artist - Sam Lightbody

Posted on February 4, 2021

We proudly announce our newest Guest Artist showing in our downtown Bozeman office! Stop by to view Sam Lightbody's beautiful landscape and Native American paintings on canvas through the month of February.

Sam Lightbody, an ERA Realtor, has been a member of the Big Sky community since 2007, enjoying its natural active outdoor lifestyle along with his wife and children. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Sam is a 10-year veteran of Big Sky Ski Patrol, a past President of Big Sky Rotary Club, and former Lone Peak High Basketball coach. He was raised skiing and hiking in the Adirondack mountains of New York and his paintings reflect his connection to mountains and wilderness; an appreciation for Native America; and his attraction to wide Western landscapes. Although not formally trained, he has taken numerous art workshops, worked with other artists, and also spent time with Kevin Red Star in his studio whose work he admires, as he continues to experiment and evolve as an artist.

Sam will be donating 20% of the proceeds from art sales to Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
