ERA Landmark Hosts 2023 Winter Sweet Pea Fest Art Show

Posted on January 24, 2023 by Becca Quackenbush

ERA Landmark is proud to host the second annual Sweet Pea Festival’s Winter Art Show this year! As we start this new tradition to play along with our long-time standing summer Sweet Pea Art shows, we encourage our community to stop by to see the 55+ art entries showing at our downtown location through the month of February. We have accepted more than we ever have and the art entries showcase everything from oil pastel drawings, acrylic paintings, photography, ceramic sculptures, and a stunning quilted tapestry!

We would like to personally congratulate the artists who were selected to hang in our show: Liz Chappie Zoller, Kayleigh Davies, Susan Moncada, Shirley Robinett, Kimberly Wirtz, Bryan Schaeffer, Janice Bogy, Kelly Hartman, Karen Luckey, Melissa Summerfield, Cheri Dyk, Sarah DeOpsomer, Timothy McClure, Barbara Tylka, Steve Perry, Kaylee Huben, Shari Chandler, Sara Swartz, Kallie Audet, Chris Sitton, Christina Rice, Shara Bailey, Elizabeth Geers Loftis, Keely Holmes, Carrie French, George Kalantzes, Charlotte Quist, Allison McGree, Katherine L Wright, Helen Donvan, Elizabeth Anthony, Martijn Caspar Swart, Suzan Strobel, Susan Alexander, Jennifer Mathson, Steve Allison-Bunnell, Jill Johnson, Anne Ross, Stephanie McGeorge, Carol Kimble, Coco Costigan, and Maria Murders.

A Juried Exhibition

Being a juried show, we never envy the job of our judge or judges on their task to claim our artists with first, second, and third-place winners. Luckily this time around, the well-established Montana artist couple, Thomas English and Shirle Wempner, have agreed to come on board for the winter show to do just that. Based out of Big Timber, Montana, the artistic couple specializes in oil paintings with an impressionistic, yet realistic style. From now until February 15th you have a chance to vote for your favorite art piece, $1 per vote - the popular vote wins the artist People's Choice award and takes the voting pot! To kick off the month-long show we invite you to join us for our Opening Reception Wednesday, February 1st from 5:30 - 7:30 PM to be the first to see the show and meet-n-greet our artists. Enter to win $50 Downtown Dollars, snack on light refreshments, sip some snazzy wine, and enjoy our wonderful art community Bozeman offers. We hope to see you there!
