Willson Auditorium: Classic holiday ballet performance.
Dec 12 : Winter Art Walk
Downtown Bozeman: Local artists showcase work in downtown shops and galleries.
Dec 12-14: Holiday Spectacular
Willson Auditorium: Annual performance featuring holiday favorites and a sing-along.
Dec 5-21 (weekends): A Christmas Carol
The Ellen Theatre: Stage performance of the classic Charles Dickens tale.
Jan 24 Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market
Gallatin County Fairgrounds (9 AM – 12 PM): Local and seasonal goods.
Feb 14-16: Winter Crazy Days Sale
Downtown Bozeman: Deep discounts on winter merchandise (President's Day Weekend).

Dec 6: Livingston Holiday Market & Community Christmas Craft Fair
Livingston Civic Center (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Features handmade crafts, art, baked goods, and local nonprofit booths. ($1 admission).
Dec 6: Friends of the Library Holiday Book Sale
Livingston-Park County Public Library (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Books for $3 each or 4 for $10, with free kids' books.
Dec 19: Holiday Skate Night
Livingston Civic Center (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM): Community roller skating event.
Jan 23-24: Dead Sky - Live Music
Pine Creek Lodge (7:00 PM): Two nights of Grateful Dead tribute music (Note: Pine Creek Lodge is located just south of Livingston)

Dec 12-14: The 28th Annual Big Sky Christmas Stroll
Town Center, Meadow Village, & Nordic Center: A weekend-long celebration including:
- Tree Lighting Ceremony at Blue Ribbon Builders (Friday).
- Photos with Santa (Friday/Saturday).
- Sleigh/Wagon Rides (Friday/Saturday).
- Carolers and a Christmas Carol Sing-Along (Friday).
- Town Center Tree Lighting Ceremony & Fireworks (Saturday at Fire Pit Park).
- Big Sky Winter Market (Saturday at The Wilson Hotel).
Dec 15 : Avalanche Dog Demo (Weekly Recurring)
Explorer Gondola Mid-Station (Wednesdays, 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM): Meet the Ski Patrol's avalanche dogs and learn about their training.

Andesite Mountain: A winter trail illuminated by a warm glow of lights through the trees. Special lighting ceremony on Dec 17th.
Dec 20 : Kircliff & Explorer Gondola Opening
Big Sky Resort: Experience the unveiling of the all-new Explorer Gondola and Kircliff glass observatory at the top of Lone Peak.
Dec 21-24: Letters to Santa
Kircliff: Deliver your letters to Santa in his special mailbox at the top of Lone Mountain.
Dec 23 -24: Pictures with Santa Claus
Explorer Gondola mid-station (12:00 PM - 2:30 PM): Take photos with Santa against the snowy mountain backdrop.
Dec 24: Christmas Eve Celebrations
- Huntley Dining Room: Christmas Eve Dinner (reservations required).
- Summit Hotel, Talus Room: Catholic and Non-Denominational Religious Services.
- Mountain Village: Torchlight Parade & Fireworks (8:00 PM).
Dec 31: New Year's Eve Celebrations

- NYE Après & Live Music (Everett's 8800 and Mountain Village Plaza).
- Fireworks (9:00 PM, visible from Mountain Village).
- NYE Party in Montana Jack (21+).
- Big Sky Resort: New Year's Day First Tracks (Jan 1, 8:00 AM) on Ramcharger 8.
Ennis Events
Dec 5 : Spirit of Christmas Stroll
Main Street, Ennis (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM): The biggest holiday event in Ennis.
- Old-fashioned Christmas stroll with late-night shopping, food, and drink specials.
- Lights are lit at Lions Club Park by the Madison River (5:00 PM).
- Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Peter T's Park (6:00 PM).
Feb 22: Polar Plunge
- Location: Kobayashi Beach, Ennis Lake
- Time: 1 PM
Ongoing Winter Activities:
- Madison Valley Ski Club: Provides access to a local ski area (passes and specific opening dates determined by snow).
- Ice Fishing & Snowmobiling: The area offers numerous unorganized recreational opportunities, including access to nearby snowmobile trails and great ice fishing lakes.
- Museum & Attractions: The Madison Valley History Museum remains open during the winter on a reduced schedule.
