The View is wonderful! This home needs care. Built in 1880, this is an excellent example of a miner's mansion, where bits and pieces of a home were put together with what they needed and their imagination. We've kept it in the family since 1986 because we wanted a place where our grandkids could experience the lifestyle of the old miners' days and see how people managed to stay together as a family. This past January, we experienced a plumbing leak that caused damage in the basement. Following a site review, we were offered only a small amount to address the necessary repairs.
