With amazing views of buttes and foothills, this architectural home on over 20 acres was designed in the style of Northwest Modernism, popular since the midcentury for its high livability, connections to the outdoors, floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials, and clean lines. Built in 2022 and offering 2,705 square feet, three bedrooms and two baths comprise the ground level, while the pavilion-like upper level presents the living areas in an open floorplan with 360-degree views. Two large decks further blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor. The primary architectural gesture is the alignment of the great room with sunrise on the summer solstice--June 21st this year--giving the house its name (see last photo).
