ERA Landmark is proud to announce that our September guest artist in downtown Bozeman, George Kalantzes, raised $12,220 towards his charity and donated 100% of the proceeds towards Alzheimer's research in honor of his late mother. The show was an incredible success and we were so happy to host George. Running through the whole month of September and with the help of ERA agent Mark Meissner, the exhibit showed during the downtown Bozeman ArtWalk summer series bringing in hours of viewers who eagerly purchased artwork right off the wall. Paired with his online fundraiser which offered the same donation-based print purchasing of his photographs and flat prints in-store, this solo guest artist exhibit was the most successful to date.
Here are a few words from George:
"The exhibit exceeded even my most optimistic expectations. With the support of the ERA team (Becca and Mark in particular), we hosted a wonderful opening during the September Bozeman Art Walk. The kindness and compassion from total strangers blew me away and restored a sense of humanity in such a divisive world we live in today. Art truly has the power to bring people with different perspectives together.
