Dan Delzer, Broker

Broker | Distinctive Properties

Dan moved to Big Sky Montana in 1973, the year the resort opened to the public and has been a part of the resort ever since. Working with the original developers and then the Boyne Corporation has giving Dan a great perspective of the ski resort development industry and how to meet the needs of those who desire to be part of Big Sky, Montana.

Dan graduated from Edina Morningside, Edina Minnesota class of 1970. Shortly thereafter he took a management job in New York City, NY. After spending a year there he realized that the big city was not for him. He relocated to Steamboat Springs, Colorado to start a life in the ski resort industry. Dan is an avid downhill and cross country skier, spending as much time on the snow as possible. Golf, mountain biking, hiking and water sports are the summer activities of choice.

Very good. He got to work on the sale immediately and got it done quickly. He carried thru with all of the documentation and did it all right. Thanks!

Dan is more than an ERA agent; he cares like family and always advises on the right questions to ask and truly wants the best for who he is representing. I love hearing the history of not just the homes, but roads and neighborhoods and how things have changed throughout the years. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Dan for the last 5 years and I’ve always felt taken care of. Thank you so much for looking out for me and helping me find the right home.

Dan was always available or responded quickly to issues, and always had a calm demeanor.  He also attempted to hold the seller's realtor to professional standards when the seller's realtor's conduct tended to promote an adversarial rather than cooperative environment.  Dan's ability to problem solve and act as a sounding board facilitated the acquisition of this property.  Forty years buying and selling real estate, this was the most difficult transaction for me due to seller's realtor.  If Dan had acted similar to seller's realtor, it is possible closing would not have occurred.

Dan was very attentive and responsive. Despite 11 months of working with a very challenging and "backward thinking" bank which held the short sale note, and then when the buyer was equally difficult regarding HOA rules and policies, Dan went beyond the norm to get things done I could not have been more pleased with Dan's service and attention and diligence
