Pickleball Courts Break Ground in Ennis
Posted on September 2, 2025New Ennis Pickleball Courts are Officially Underway!
The familiar pop of a pickleball striking a paddle has become a beloved sound in communities across the country, and soon, Ennis will have a brand-new home for it. On August 25th, the air was filled with excitement as the Ennis Pickleball Club broke ground on their much-anticipated, state-of-the-art court facility.
Shovels hit the dirt, officially kicking off a project that marks a major milestone for the club and for recreation in the Madison Valley. This isn't just a patch of pavement; it's the future hub for a passionate and growing community of players.
The new facility, located on Hot Springs Loop Road, is set to be a premier destination for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels. Here’s what the community can look forward to:
- Six Dedicated Courts: No more waiting for a spot or sharing space. Six beautiful, permanent courts will provide ample room for play.
- Year-Round Access: Designed for outdoor play throughout the seasons, the courts will allow players to enjoy the game whenever the weather permits.
- Open to Everyone: The facility will be available for both Ennis Pickleball Club members and the general public, making it a true community asset.
Pickleball is known for its accessibility, drawing in players from every age group and athletic background. These new courts will provide a fantastic venue for everything from casual drop-in games and friendly matches to organized leagues and tournaments.
While the sounds of construction will soon replace the ceremonial shovels, the community will have to wait just a little while longer to hear the first official serves. The project is slated for completion in the Spring of 2026.
A huge congratulations to the Ennis Pickleball Club and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. Get your paddles ready, Ennis—a new era of pickleball is just around the corner!
