Kirk is a University of Montana graduate with a BS in business administration. He enjoys golfing, boating, skiing and all the other outdoor activities available in Big Sky. Kirk is also an avid college sports enthusiast.

Kirk is dedicated to giving back to the community he calls home. Currently he is serving as Chairman of the Gallatin Canyon Consolidated Rural Fire District Board of Trustees. He is also affiliated with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Big Sky Chamber of Commerce and Montana State University Bobcat Boosters. Kirk is a member of the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors, the Southwest Multiple Listing Service, and a member of the Rocky Mountain Resort Alliance.
