Big Sky inventory amounts have dropped 7% in the last month and Livingston continues to track similar inventory numbers compared to last August. (see graph below)
Big Sky has seen a significant increase in the amount of sales units since the beginning of the year. The average sold price for residential homes, in Big Sky, is $716,732 which is a 19% decline compared to August 2009; the median is $639,000 and has a decline of under 2%.
Livingston has also seen a significant continued increase in sales units compared to the year to date 2009. Average sold prices for single-family residences in Livingston are $200,897; the median is $172,000, showing a 20% decrease in average and median price decrease of less than 1% for that area.
