Big Sky Discovery Academy is launching an innovative Ski Enrichment Program this fall for students aged six to eleven. The new offering provides a unique opportunity for young learners to pair serious ski training with their academic education.

As an optional add-on, enrolled students will train two afternoons a week. The program begins with a 10-week dry-land session at the Moving Mountains gym, where personal trainers will focus on building ski-specific strength, agility, and mobility. Once the snow falls, students will transition to the slopes of Big Sky Resort for on-mountain instruction with resort coaches, honing their skiing fundamentals and on-mountain etiquette.

An exciting new development is being considered for northeast Livingston! City commissioners are meeting on Tuesday to discuss the final rezoning of a 20-acre parcel of land. This could pave the way for a new mixed-use development called Northtown.

The proposed Northtown project would be located at North 9th Street and Scenic Trail and would bring a mix of housing and commercial space to the area. The plan includes 240 new apartments, broken down into 104 studios, 68 one-bedroom units, and 68 two-bedroom units. The apartments are planned to be spacious, with two-bedroom units at approximately 1,125 square feet, one-bedroom units at 750 square feet, and studios at 562 square feet.
