The Blue Slipper Theatre, in collaboration with the Shane Center, will present a special Valentine’s Day Gala Dinner performance of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, adapted and directed by our very own Gillian Swanson in our ERA Landmark Western Land office in Livingston, to honor retired local music and voice teacher, Marcia McCarry, on Tuesday, February 14th at the Dulcie Theatre in Livingston.
This special event, sponsored by ERA Landmark Western Land, will commemorate Marcia McCarry’s 46-year teaching career, during which she instructed, coached, and inspired literally thousands of students of all ages. The evening will begin with dinner by Mustang Catering at 6:30 pm, and an open bar for adult guests by Plonk of Bozeman. Several of McCarry’s former students will speak before the show, which begins at 8 pm.
The price is $40 per person, including show tickets, dinner, and refreshments. Early reservations are recommended by calling The Blue Slipper Theatre, at 222-7720.
