The Gallatin Valley keeps growing, and with that growth come new streets, fresh framing, and neighborhoods taking shape where there were open fields just a few years ago. From Bozeman's west side to the small towns along I-90, here are some of the new neighborhoods worth exploring this fall.

Laurel Meadows, Bozeman

On Bozeman's west side, Laurel Meadows brings more than 100 attainable, entry-level homes to a part of town where trails and open space are part of daily life. As the neighborhood puts it: trails at your door, town within reach.

Laurel Meadows homes are coming to market soon, and ERA Landmark agents are selling them. Contact us to be among the first to hear when homes are released.

Northwest Crossing, Bozeman

Near West Oak Street and Cottonwood Road, Northwest Crossing is a master-planned community with more than 700 residences, 150,000 square feet of shops and offices, and over 30 acres of parks and open space. Williams Homes is building single-family homes and townhomes here, with prices starting in the low $540,000s. Coffee, dining, and everyday services are planned right in the neighborhood. Blackwood Groves, Bozeman

In south Bozeman, Blackwood Groves is built like a small town, with 12 parks, dog parks, fitness loops, a sledding hill, an ice rink, a cross-country ski loop, and a Village Square for dining. Estate homesites, porch homes, bungalows, and rental cottages all share the neighborhood, putting a wide range of home sizes and price points side by side. Shop homes in Blackwood Groves.

Hidden Creek, Bozeman

At 805 Oak Park Drive, Hidden Creek is one of the most important housing projects in town right now. A partnership between Gallatin County, the City of Bozeman, HRDC, and United Housing Partners, it will add 182 income-restricted apartments and 9 equity-restricted homes for purchase. Construction began in 2026, with leasing expected in 2027. Eligibility follows the program's income guidelines, and HRDC is the best source for application details.

West Post, Belgrade

West Post is a small, master-planned neighborhood by Williams Homes at 700 Thrice Loop, with 69 homes planned at build-out and completion expected in 2027. Homes offer three or more bedrooms, two or more baths, two-car garages, and roughly 1,321 to 2,208 square feet, including the single-story Ponderosa plan. Pricing starts in the low $550,000s.

Right next door, Askin Park has walking trails, a pond with a beach area, a dog park, a playground, and a grass amphitheater. I-90 is minutes away, making for an easy drive to Bozeman, Big Sky, and Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. HOA dues are about $113 a month and cover the open space and common areas.

More New Neighborhoods in Belgrade

Belgrade has become the valley's go-to for new construction, and with the new Rosauers at the Foundry and more shops along Jackrabbit Lane, daily errands keep getting easier. A few more neighborhoods to explore:

Prescott Ranch in north Belgrade offers townhomes and one- and two-story homes from the high $400,000s, with five neighborhood parks.

Meadowlark Ranch, north of East Baseline Road, has custom and semi-custom single-family homes, walking trails, and a community park.

Ryan Glenn, near Penwell Bridge Road, features larger lots of 10,000 to 23,000 square feet with Bridger views.

Landmark, three miles southwest of town, offers half-acre to one-acre lots for custom homes and a paved trail network.

Creekside, Four Corners

Between Shandalyn Lane and Black Bull Trail, Creekside sets 96 single-family homes on 55 acres, with 20 of those acres kept as parkland and trails. New custom homes here feature mountain views and main-level living, just minutes from the road to Big Sky and the Gallatin River. Shop homes in Creekside.

Manhattan Meadows, Manhattan

Off Nixon Gulch Road, Manhattan Meadows offers 45 build-ready lots starting at 10,000 square feet, about 0.6 miles from Manhattan's schools and a few miles from the Gallatin River. Some lots allow an ADU or duplex with a special use permit, which adds flexibility for extra living space or rental income. Shop lots in Manhattan Meadows.

Headwaters, Three Forks

Three blocks from downtown Three Forks, Headwaters was planned as the town's first live/work condo development, pairing a 1,200 square foot finished shop with a three-bedroom home upstairs. The shop space adds room for a workshop, studio, or home-based business. Shop homes in Three Forks.

Questions to Ask Before You Buy New

  • What is included in the base price, such as landscaping, window coverings, and appliances?
  • What are the HOA dues and covenants?
  • What is planned next door, including parks, commercial space, or future phases?
  • What does the builder warranty cover, and for how long?
  • Who represents you? The on-site sales team works for the builder, and your own agent keeps someone in your corner through contracts, inspections, and negotiations.
