There is something special brewing in the heart of Park County this January. For the first time in our town’s history, we are celebrating Livingston Restaurant Week, a seven-day culinary event designed to showcase our amazing food scene while giving back to the community we love.

Whether you are a lifelong local or a visitor looking for the perfect winter getaway, Livingston Restaurant Week offers the ultimate excuse to explore the diverse flavors of Southwest Montana.

The Details: When and Where

Livingston Restaurant Week officially kicks off on Sunday, January 19, and runs through Saturday, January 25.

The event features 21 participating restaurants spanning the entire county—from the historic streets of downtown Livingston to the scenic vistas of Pray. Organized by Small Plate Hospitality and supported by a grant from the Livingston Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), this initiative aims to support local businesses during the quieter winter months and invite visitors to discover what makes our food scene so unique.

Dining for a Cause

What makes this week truly special is its commitment to the community. For every "featured dish" sold during the event, $2 will be donated directly to the Livingston Food Resource Center.

Organized by Lisa Machac of Small Plate Hospitality, the event follows a "low-key" model that fits the Livingston lifestyle perfectly. "Each restaurant just shows off your favorite dish—it could be a special, it could be a classic," Machac explained. "It’s an optional donation for the consumer, and it will go straight to the food bank."

It’s a simple concept with a big impact: you enjoy a world-class meal, and the local food bank receives vital support.

Where to Eat: Participating Locations

The lineup for the inaugural year is impressive, featuring everything from casual taphouses and long-standing local icons to high-end destination dining.

The Participating Restaurants Include:

  • Chico Hot Springs: Chico Saloon, The Historic Dining Room, and the Poolside Grill.

  • Sage Lodge: Fireside Room, The Grill, and The Lodge’s Larder.

Why You Should Participate

Livingston’s food scene has grown tremendously over the last few years, earning a reputation as a culinary destination in Montana. Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to:

  1. Try Something New: Visit that restaurant you’ve been meaning to try or sample a "featured dish" at your favorite place.

  2. Support Local Jobs: Help our local hospitality workers and owners thrive during the off-season.

  3. Fight Food Insecurity: Your meal helps the Livingston Food Resource Center provide healthy, local food to neighbors in need.
